Mettams – Sorrento , now that was a proper sea breeze, 5m 79l

bump n jump, forgot how nice a smaller sail like 5m is to use.

Mettams Beach to Sorrento, nice cruisy sail. 5.8m SE Wave again ! and Kombat 79l

A little bit of swell around. All the cloud seemed odd but there was enough wind after all.

Great start to the year.

Mettams Beach, WA, AU – light and cruisy coastrun – 5.8 and 79l again. no fins just flying fish. All good. Two waterstarts.

Mettams to Sorrento – more wind this time but some light “patches” but fully lit on the 5.8 (finally) – some great chop hopping , no fins visible today which made it more relaxing.

Mettams to sorrento, bit more wind than yesterday, still a bit patchy. 5.8 79l.

Had a couple of nasty moments when I saw black fins in the water a few hundred metres out, managed to convince myself it was a dolphin (very swept back curvy fin). And jybed near other people (a few sea kayaks going downwind so I figured jybing near them improves the odds). only dropped two the whole sail – thats what seeing some fins in the water can do for you.

Kombat 79l and Ezzy SE Wave 5.8 – took a little bit to get used to the smaller board and not flat water but great fun. felt faster than that.

Well done on the weekend everyone ! PBs and (briefly) top of the world what more can we want.

Mettams to sorrento, 5.8 ezzy. Bit light at times, no sand left at Watermans and hardly any at Mettams.

short sharp Mettams to Sorrento, 5.8 SE wave Kombat 79. A bit marginal, probably should have taken the sonic / 6.5 combo but didnt pack them. Good fun and was planing “most” of the time. Saw the best flying fish (longest air time) Ive ever seen, wish I could jump like that. very busy weekend. Had a bday party to go to on Sat night so couldnt spend too much time on the water, and jobs to do all Sunday.

Mettams to sorrento, great time was had. Some swell and the wind angle was just right. 5m SE Wave was a little small in the lulls and a little big in the gusts but just right almost all the time.
