Very light wind coastrun, only got as far as Watermans and the wind switched of completely. Still at least we got out (got wet when I ducked under a wave after landing at Watermans, it was quite hot and sweaty!) Kombat 79, 5.8 Ezzy SE
At the beginning the wind was OK but it switched of completely by Watermans, probably lucky to make it that far.

Very bumpy Mettams to Sorrento. 5,8 SE Wave and Kombat. Could have got away with smaller but played it safe.

First time for using the sonic 95 in the real ocean (had tried at Pinnaroo before) – launching at Mettams had me worried about it handling a set but once I was out it was all good. No nasty nose diving but had to relearn the gybing on a face habbits a small board gets you into to.

A great sail with a 5.8 SE Wave and the old drake fin. Mettams to sorrento and planed almost the whole time, SL VB stopped at watermans after plodding that far on smaller gear.

Perhaps I should have used a bigger sail – might try that next time – now that I own a 6.5

Light wind Coasty 5.8 – not enough for second half. Gav stopped at Watermans. Couple of drunks accosted SL and JT when packing up. Wanted to tell us their life stories. A bit worrying at the end. Better than working.

Lovely 5.0 day, Mettams to Sorrento. Bit of a wind wave and some swell about, first run out got half way round on a jump tack (made that name up but it describes it).
