Pelican Point, gusty easterly, gave me a reason to get out the LOC rig again. 120 iSonic and 7.2 KA Koncept. Was OK when planing but a bit of a struggle to get going in the lulls. Must learn how to pump sometime ! Nice to bump into a few of the team, slept in so was a late starter.

Mettams to sorrento, now that really was too light, only fell in once and struggled to waterstart after but was enough for that. Solo sail as not enough wind for others.

Mettams to Sorrento, 5m ezzy, Kombat. Wild day, less wind than yesterday but still plenty. Smaller swell but occasional lump there. need a rest day soon

WOW – that blew away the cobwebs and replaced all the soreness and achess with new ones.
I wish we could have those conditions for a LOC !
Some nice waves/ seas to run in , the 24 knots felt a lot faster than that. kept it on the water most of the time but did manage to tweek an ankle. Must stop landing jumps and go back to just crashing them, its a lot safer. All so fast and furious no time to notice wildlife.
There were 14 sailors and one kite at Mettams when I went back to get the car, overcrowded in my opinion.
Ledge Point to Lancelin 7.3 Koncept, 120 Sonic. 44 FO pointer. had to stop and clear fin a few times, then popped the cam of the mast on the second last outside mark. got to inside mark but just couldnt waterstart and was too exhausted to uphaul so got in a boat. they had a very nice mackeral they had caught and cold beer for me. O well next year for me.

bump n jump, forgot how nice a smaller sail like 5m is to use.

A little bit of swell around. All the cloud seemed odd but there was enough wind after all.
